Ok, this place was our favorite for the whole trip. The couple who owned the house was incredibly nice and sat up with us talking about politics and philosophy and culture. The rooms were reasonably priced, beautiful, and comfortable. And the breakfasts were superb. Here's the address:

Parts of this house are over 300 years old, but it is in pristine condition. The trip to town was reasonably short and there were a couple of quaint restaurants open fairly late.

Look out for the schneeballen! Rob tosses a snowball at Mike who taunts him from his lofty perch.

They even had goats for the kids (hey! I like goats too!) Aren't they cute?
