Merry Old England!

For the true turn of the millenium, I took a trip to London, England with my friend, Joanna. We attended a traditional Church of England wedding and took in the sight in and around London. Best of all, we made some terrific new friends who showed us a little about life in England.

As in Germany, England has a wonderful sense of history - and, contrary to popular belief, the food is *wonderful*!!! I had tea at Harrod's, a fabulous curry in Flitwick, fish and chips at a pub, and much more. Luckily, there was so much to see, we were able to walk off those great meals! So tally ho, and away we go:

Binsted

Barry and Lisa's Wedding

Coastal Sights

London Town

Big Ben and the Eye of London

Westminster

The Tower of London

Stratford on the Avon

Warwick

StoneHenge

Bath

Changing of the Guard

(even a quick stop for a Harry Potter fan!)

We laughed, we danced, we walked, we ate (and ate and ate). A good time was had by all - and good friends were made by all. My favorite part of England was the friends I made along the way:
